My Day

It has been quite uneventful today. I woke wanted to get lots of sewing done for trades and customs. That all came to a halt with my poor sick Benna. She was running a fever the last couple of days, but we just figured it was a teething fever. This morning she woke with a fever close to 105. Well, I guess it's not teeth after all. All she has wanted to do is cuddle and sleep. Fortunately, she is nursing well still.

I was able to get my first batch of tester dipes out in the mail today! I have also worked on some fabric cutting for a quilt I am doing for a customer. I am so eager to finish this quilt! It is just gorgeous!! I will post teaser pix here in the next couple of days!

Today's adventures

I am hoping to get lots done today. The children are taking a "break" from homeschooling so I can get all my sewing caught up.

I have got some trades I need to finish up and get started on, and a custom quilt to start cutting out.

Dinner will be on the table by 4:30 so we can go to the shop for more upholstering. This has been such a fun thing to learn. I sure hope it is something that we can do as a family business! Our dream for a couple years now has been for Danny to no longer have to work outside of the home...for us to work side by side and with our children, teaching them work ethic and responsibilities. Pray with us as we seek this new venture!
